Tonight, relax on a small boat, enjoy dinner and drinks as we cruise during sunset.

We start the day by biking from the hotel to a nearby ferry that crosses the Mekong for our last day of cycling in the Delta. This region has many sites from Khmer rule, and around 1.5 million people of Cambodian descent live here today.
We’ll cycle through the green Delta area, visit some islands, and have lunch at a local home. After eating, we’ll take a 1 hour and 15-minute boat ride back to Can Tho, arriving in the afternoon to relax at the hotel.

We’ll get up early to see a unique floating market in Can Tho, Vietnam. You’ll have free time to relax or explore before we fly to Da Nang and then go to Hue for a two-night stay.
Tonight, unwind at our peaceful resort on the outskirts of Hue.

Today we’ll bike around historic Hue. We’ll visit the Citadel, a UNESCO site, witness traditional and French influences, and see the Thien Mu Pagoda by the Perfume River. After lunch, we’ll boat along the river and visit sacred tombs of emperors. The bike ride will take us through scenic farmland and rice fields.
Tonight, a local family will host us for dinner, sharing Hue’s cuisine secrets and stories.

This morning, we’ll stretch before leaving Hue to start our ride over Vietnam’s famous Hai Van Pass. The 21-kilometer road includes a 10-kilometer climb with stunning views of the coast.
After crossing the pass, we bike towards Da Nang for lunch and then travel to Hoi An. In Hoi An, we’ll check into our hotel and take a walking tour of the Old Town, discovering hidden spots and trying local snacks. The day ends with a delicious dinner featuring Hoi An specialties. This is the first of 3 nights in Hoi An’s historic center.

You’ll start biking from the hotel, passing through villages, farms, and rice fields to reach the My Son ruins, a UNESCO site built by the Cham people. After exploring, we’ll return to Hoi An by van.
In Hoi An, you’ll meet students and artisans from Reaching Out Vietnam, a social enterprise supporting people with disabilities. You’ll have the evening free for dinner in Hoi An, where you’ll find plenty of restaurant choices, and your guides can help with recommendations.

We’ll take a short walk from the hotel to the dock where our kayaks are parked. Then, we’ll paddle down the Tu Bon River towards the sea, passing by Hoi An’s waterfront and a mangrove forest. After about 1.5 hours, we’ll arrive at the Red Bridge Cooking School for an award-winning cooking class with lunch included. Later, we’ll return to the hotel.
In the late afternoon, we’ll have a quick ride to Tra Que, a highly-rated organic vegetable farm village near Hoi An. Local hosts will demonstrate their farming methods and prepare a special dish for the group. To end our Vietnam adventure, we’ll have a farewell dinner with a delicious meal.

Enjoy an early breakfast followed by a visit to our favorite Vietnamese coffee shop, owned by one of the country’s top coffee roasters. You’ll be treated to a private coffee tasting session featuring both traditional and modern styles. Experience making Vietnamese egg and filter coffee yourself.

12 March 2025 ★★★★★My husband and I, along with five friends, thoroughly enjoyed our Heritage Line The Jahan Mekong River Cruise from Siem Reap to Saigon. The food was out of this world. I have celiac disease and Heritage Line knows how to take extra care with food preparation to keep people safe. Our outstanding travel agent set everything up for us, answered all of our questions and checked on us frequently. I highly recommend Heritage Line The Jahan and I highly recommend booking this unforgettable journey through a trusted travel advisor.

8 January 2025 ★★★★★The entire crew was personable. Special shout outs to the Aqua Mekong cruise director and housekeeping manager. Rooms were clean. Food options were always delicious plus there was no way to ever be hungry! One of our group had dietary restrictions and there were always choices that worked. Evening entertainment was great and every night was something different. We did the Mekong River cruise so the daily excursions included time in local villages, markets, and cultural sites. We all had fun and appreciated the small ship experience.

17 April 2025 ★★★★★We went on a 7 day Mekong River cruise on the La Marguerite ship. Our twin room on the lower level was very nice, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Housekeeping twice a day with turndown service was fantastic. Dining was spectacular with buffet and menu choices, and the special dinner was magnificent. Each day the menus reflected local Mekong flavors. Service was extraordinarily good. Every evening a complimentary happy hour was offered, and the staff were always attentive. My traveling companion was gluten free and had many wonderful options at each meal. Excursions were very good, with gentle or more active tour choices and excellent local guides. This was one of the best cruise experiences I’ve ever had!

22 May 2025 ★★★★★The Jayavarman cruise was simply outstanding. Our tour director was on point at every turn, with clear instructions and follow-through every step of the way. The food was delicious, the wine and drinks were abundant, and the living quarters were attractive and clean. The day excursions were divided into more difficult, regular, and easy so everyone got to select their pace. This was our first true river cruise and we enjoyed every single moment of it.

12 February 2026 ★★★★★Lovely cruise down the Mekong on Pandaw. Crew were very friendly, food was great, loved all the drinks and atmosphere on board. Loads of guided tours available and we visited some lovely places along the river. Very smooth journey with only slight changes due to river conditions, all handled perfectly by the crew whilst we were whisked off on an excursion. Great evening entertainment and our boat had a wonderful traditional charm throughout. Would definitely recommend.
